About Us

Our Strollmate journey began in the middle of a busy zoo on a hot afternoon when our son, Parker, had an epic meltdown. Two years old at the time, he refused to ride in the stroller nor hold hands as we were venturing through the zoo. Time to improvise, "here hold on to this". Parker smiled, popped up off the ground, and grabbed on. It was a colored string tied to the handlebar left behind from a popped balloon. Parker used this green balloon string for the rest of the day, all the way until we made it safely to our car in the parking lot.

After several more adventures utilizing the green balloon string, the initial idea of a comfortable, adjustable handle started to formulate. Why not turn this into a real solution that all parents, grandparents, and caretakers can benefit from? Two years later, Strollmate was born. A comfy, extra hand allowing your little one (or ones!) to stroll safely and independently (and hopefully minimize meltdowns).
